The Kids Zone was delivered as part of the Melton Town Centre Revitalisation Program. The purpose of the Melton Town Centre Revitalisation Program is to provide opportunities to improve public spaces, the level of accessibility, pedestrian safety and economic activity.

Construction works have been completed and the area is now open to the public.

Works undertaken include.

• Installation of play space – climbing tower, slide, basket swing, pretend play area
• Fencing of site
• Landscaping works
• Seating adjacent to tower
