This is your chance to submit a project, initiative, or program that Council could include as part of the 2025/26 Council Plan and Budget process.

City of Melton ratepayers, residents, visitors, community groups, sporting clubs and local businesses are all welcome to contribute.

In 2024/25 we received 16 project ideas from our community, with Council providing funding for 10 projects to the value of $584,000.

For your idea to be considered by Council, it should meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate strong community benefit

  • Support the Community Vision

  • Be deliverable in the 2025/26 financial year

  • Be deliverable on Council land/ buildings

  • Be deliverable by Council

Only one idea will be accepted per individual/group.

Ideas which seek funding to support organisations or groups deliver their own programs or services will not be considered as part of this program. These ideas should be put forward to Council's Community Grants program.
