  • Car parking
  • Associated infrastructure to support community level sporting clubs
  • District level play space
  • Passive open space elements, landscaping, furniture, district level play space and path network.

Updated Plan

Changes we have made from the original draft Master Plan are:

  • Inclusion of footprint of the new Deanside Children’s and Community Centre building and carpark.
  • Some facilities will be moved to improve access and better link everything together:
    • The pavilion, car park, and netball courts will move from the east side of the northern oval
    • They will be relocated to the west side of the southern oval
  • These changes will help:
    • Create a better connection between the community centre and sports areas
    • Make parking and access simpler and more convenient
    • Improve how the whole precinct works together for the community
