Project Background
Council is revitalising Westlake Drive Reserve in West Melton. The minor park upgrade to Westlake Drive Reserve will include a playground that aims to enhance accessibility and play spaces for all abilities and ages within the community. Key improvements include an upgraded multi-play unit, the addition of accessible features such as a basket swing and a carousel, new natural play elements to enrich the play experience, a new entry concrete path and more seats to improve amenity, increased garden beds and trees to provide natural shade and also to create a more inviting and comfortable environment for all users.

We are seeking feedback on the concept design for this project from residents, park users and stakeholders. You can provide your comments via the following channels by 1 September 2024:

- filling out the hard copy flyers and mailing replay paid to Melton City Council,
- or emailing your feedback to openspaceplanning@melton.vic.gov.au.
After collecting feedback, we will assess the responses and reconsider the design based on the community’s input. Your insights are valuable in shaping a space that meets the needs and desires of everyone in our community.
