Project Background
Melton City Council manages the local road network and is responsible for approving works that impact traffic, including road and lane closures.
Council has approved a request from a developer to undertake road rehabilitation works, installation of a new water main and upgraded drainage along Melton Valley Drive, Melton, for approximately 200 metres to the Federation Drive roundabout.
Due to the nature, extent and safety requirements of these works, a temporary full road closure is required. These works cannot be undertaken while the road remains open to traffic.
