Project Background

Council is revitalising Royal Crescent Reserve in Hillside. The minor improvements for Royal Crescent Reserve focus on relocating the playground away from the kindergarten fence to address safety concerns raised by the kindergarten. The new playground will be placed closer to the existing trees to take advantage of natural shade. The outdated play equipment will be replaced with a modern multi-play structure and an accessible swing set, catering to young children of all abilities. The area where the existing playground is currently located will be turfed and enhanced with a planted buffer along the fence to create a pleasing and secure environment.
