Project Background
Melton City Council (“Council”), gives notice under section 206 and clause 3 of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989 (“the Act”) that Council proposes to discontinue and transfer to itself part of the road reserve of Gray Court, Deanside, identified as R1 on LP149082E being approximately 102m2, hatched on the below plan.
Any person may make a submission on the proposal.
Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and can be hand delivered to Council’s Office at 232 High Street, Melton Victoria 3337 or posted to the following address:

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act. No further community consultation process will be undertaken on the proposed discontinuance.
Any person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that the person wishes to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, at a meeting to be heard in support of that submission.
Any person wishing to make a submission must do so in writing by Saturday 4 July 2026.
