We asked for your feedback on the concept plan of new nature play space at Melton Botanic Garden.

The new nature play space features natural play equipment, sand and water play, climbing opportunities, artistic sculptures inspired by nature, seating, a central pathway, new plants and trees and turfed areas.

Feedback was collected from residents, park users and stakeholders between 5th July and 18th July 2021.

We received input through various channels, including an online survey on this webpage, a webinar, distribution of hard copy flyers, emails, and phone communications. Unfortunately, a scheduled pop-up session at Melton Botanic Garden had to be cancelled due to the outdoor gathering restrictions imposed by the Victorian State Government at that time.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to confirm that many of the suggestions by residents have been taken into consideration.

Construction of the upgrades has been completed and the park is now open to public. An official opening event will be organised in near future to celebrate the achievement.
