Melton City Council is commissioning a professional artist to create public artworks in Linear Park, beside St Vincent Way, Caroline Springs.

The location runs the length of the park, from Taylor’s Road to the north down through The Avenue Park south to Caroline Springs Boulevard (see maps and images below). The work will be part of a new initiative from The City of Melton exploring artistic responses to rapid growth and change in infrastructure, demographics, social cohesion, and cultural identity of the city.

The main aims of the project are to boost community pride in our shared open spaces and to reflect stories, themes and issues that are relevant to area residents.
