Kirkpatrick Boulevard, between Hopkins Road and McKinley Drive, Truganina will be closed from Monday 6 October 2025 for approximately 60 days (weather permitting) for developer works to construct a new roundabout.

From Monday 15 September to until Monday 29 September 2025, the community will be able to review the traffic management arrangements and provide feedback on them.

A temporary closure is the only option to complete these works safely.

The new roundabout will enable the construction of a new road (Strathbogie Drive) which will facilitate the delivery of a proposed homemaker centre and connect Kirkpatrick Boulevard into Grand Boulevard, improving traffic flow and access in the Mt Atkinson area.
