Have Your Say
Thank you to everyone who provided valuable feedback during the consultation period from 25 July and 19 August 2022. Feedback was collected through various channels, including an online survey, distribution of hard copy flyers, email submissions, phone consultations and a face-to-face session held at Earlington Square Reserve. Your feedback was taken into consideration when finalising the detailed design and documentation. Please refer to the document library for the summary of feedback and Council's response.
Project Updates
As part of our commitment to preserving local biodiversity, a recent assessment has identified the presence of native grasses within the project area. In response, the design has been carefully adjusted to minimise any impact on these important natural assets, while also ensuring that the community’s enjoyment of the space remains unchanged.
Following the August Council Meeting, the tender for the project has been awarded, and construction is set to begin in late September. While the design has been slightly refined to align with the approved budget, there are no significant changes to the overall plan.
