Have Your Say

Thank you to everyone who provided valuable feedback during the consultation period from 25 July and 19 August 2022. Feedback was collected through various channels, including an online survey, distribution of hard copy flyers, email submissions, phone consultations and a face-to-face session held at Earlington Square Reserve. Your feedback was taken into consideration when finalising the detailed design and documentation. Please refer to the document library for the summary of feedback and Council's response.

Project Updates

A biodiversity assessment has been undertaken and identified the presence of native grass within the project scope. In response, the design has been modified to minimise the impact on the native grass and mitigate the loss of amenity value for the community.

Currently, we are in the process of applying for planning permits to responsibly remove a small proportion of native grass. Following the endorsement of the planning permit, the finalised design will be posted on this page.

Unfortunately, due to these factors, the tender process and construction work have encountered delays. Your understanding during this period is sincerely appreciated.
