We’re excited to share that a new Children’s and Community Centre is coming to Diggers Rest! This modern space is being built to support the growing needs of our Diggers Rest community and will include:

• Kindergarten facilities
• Maternal and Child Health services
• A unique Library Lounge – the first of its kind in the City of Melton!

Our vision is to create a welcoming place where everyone can come together, enjoy library programs, access essential services, and build lasting connections.

The Diggers Rest community can be part of shaping this space. You will have the opportunity to share your ideas and help influence the services and features offered in the new Library Lounge.

• attending our Pop-Up Information Session on Saturday 31 January 2026

• complete a short survey on the Library Lounge and general feedback.
