Project Background

Council is revitalising Cranwell Reserve in Caroline Springs. The minor park upgrade to Cranwell Reserve will include a redesigned playground featuring a new multi-play structure designed to offer diverse and engaging activities for children. The addition of an accessible basket swing will cater to all abilities, ensuring inclusivity, while the rotating see-saw and multi-seat rocker will provide thrilling motion play experiences. The landscaping around the playground will be upgraded with additional seats, new plantings and shaded areas to create a more inviting and pleasing environment. To further enhance the park’s appeal, the central area of the reserve will be improved by expanding the gravel surface to enhance accessibility. The central wall and mound will be replaced with lawn, and the trees will be pruned with clear trunks to improve the visibility and usability of the space under the canopy
