Join the Conscious Catering Project!

Are you a business located within the City of Melton?

This initiative, led by Melton City Council’s Community Health Promotion team and supported by VicHealth, aims to support local catering businesses to provide nourishing, sustainable and culturally inclusive catering options. Participating businesses will receive guidance from Council to refine their menus and apply to be listed on the Catering for Good Directory, a state-wide online tool connecting organisations with healthy and sustainable caterers.

Who should apply?

We encourage applications from businesses that:

• Provide catering services within the City of Melton (cafés, restaurants, catering businesses, food trucks)
• Are open to working with a consultant to refine their menus to align with the Healthy Food and Drink Policy and the Healthy Choices Guidelines
• Value community health, environmental sustainability, and cultural inclusivity.
