This is your chance to influence the planning of new and improved open space, parks and recreation facilities within the City of Melton.

Melton City Council invited households to participate in the 2019 Active Participation Survey, so we can learn more about your recreation activities and interests; what you do, where you do it and why you do it.

Council engaged @Leisure Planners to conduct the survey, which asked a range of questions about participation in organised physical activity (or sports, such as football, netball or gym classes), informal or non-organised physical activity (such as walking) and utilisation of other Council-owned recreational infrastructure such as parks, playgrounds, shared paths and aquatic centres.

Input from the survey will not only inform the development of open space strategies and plans, but play a vital role in helping shape the future provision of open space, leisure and recreation facilities across the City of Melton.

The survey closed on Friday 18 October.
